SOURIAU AT THE MTIJ 2019

SOURIAU is a global leader in the railway sector and is particularly present in Japan where its products’ high reliability and excellent performances are relied upon to transport millions of passengers and commuters everyday.

It is therefore no surprise that this year SOURIAU Japan will be at 6th edition of the MTIJ at MAKUHARI MESSE(CHIBA, Japan : nearby Tokyo) – the largest trade show around railway technologies in Japan.

Starting from November 27, you can drop by our booth B22 to meet our product experts and sales team who will always be delighted to receive you. You can also come and manipulate our connectors by yourself as we will have a sample panel set up on the booth, for visitors to experience the mating and unmating of our different products.

LOCAL EXPERTISE

SOURIAU is specialized in interconnect solutions for harsh environments and has decades of experience in railway interconnect systems in Japan. Our Japanese teams – based in Kawasaki and Osaka - include 3 R&D engineers who work on developing unique products that respond perfectly to the requirements of the local market. These include the MSG 3U Series, a rectangular front I/O connector for rack systems, and specific layouts of the VGE1 – a bayonet connector derived from the MIL-DTL-5015 and VG95234 standards and qualified according to international railway standards: EN50467, EN45545, NFPA 130, RoHS and REACH.

The MSG 3U is a high density rectangular connector for railway applications designed by SOURIAU Japan

RAILWAY APPLICATIONS

SOURIAU also provides expertise in manufacturing and terminating fiber optic solutions that can be accommodated in all our connector products for high speed data transmission, weight and space savings, and enhanced safety performances.

Our products can be found on signaling systems, rolling stock and rail infrastructure where electrical systems will be subjected to high vibration, extreme climatic conditions and intensive usage. Other applications include:

  • Data transmission along the train and tracks
  • Passenger rolling stock equipment such as brakes, air-conditioning and doors
  • Inter-vehicle and bogies
  • Inside vehicle systems such as door automation, lights, seat equipment and driver control
  • Power transmission on locomotive and traction systems

We look forward to welcoming you at our booth, and if you have any questions or comments ahead of the show please feel free to contact us through our website contact form, or contact our Japanese team directly:
